This delightful dessert is perfect for chocolate lovers, offering a satisfyingly indulgent experience without the need for an ice cream machine.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup chocolate syrup
¼ cup cocoa powder
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, pour in the 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk with 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly before adding it to the ice cream mixture.
Carefully fold the melted chocolate into the ice cream mixture until fully incorporated.
To add the crackle texture, stir in ¼ cup of cocoa powder and ½ cup of chocolate syrup.
Pour the ice cream mixture into an airtight container, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Cover the container and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until the ice cream is firm.
