A dish that beautifully combines rich, creamy flavors with an array of seafood favorites, making it a cherished comfort food for many.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup cooked crab meat
1 cup cooked potatoes, diced
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup chicken or seafood broth
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup crushed buttered crackers
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and celery, and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour over the sautéed vegetables and stir well. Gradually add the heavy cream and seafood broth, whisking to combine smoothly. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mixture thickens, approximately 5-7 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the cooked lobster, shrimp, crab, and diced potatoes into the sauce until well-coated.
Pour the seafood mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers and grated Parmesan. Sprinkle this mixture evenly on top of the seafood casserole.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
