Smoked Shotgun Shells

Description

An inventive dish that combines the flavors of smoked meats with creamy fillings, all wrapped in pasta shells and grilled to perfection.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your pellet smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded smoked cheese, crumbled bacon or sausage, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined and creamy.
  4. Carefully stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese and meat mixture.
  5. Place the st■ shells on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  6. Transfer the baking sheet to the smoker and smoke the shells for about 30-40 minutes, or until heated through and the tops are slightly golden and bubbling.
  7. Remove the shells from the smoker and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
