Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
