Ingredients
Scale:
12 oz. rotini or penne pasta
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. Italian sausage, casings removed
5 oz. sliced pepperoni
24 oz. marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, blending thoroughly with the meat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, the meat mixture, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish. Spread evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese over the top. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
