These no-bake dessert recipes are a fantastic blend of crunchy, chewy, and sweet, making them a beloved choice for gatherings, potlucks, and family celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups of shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
1 cup of crunchy chow mein noodles
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional)
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and melted (about 1-2 minutes).
Add the vanilla extract to the chocolate-peanut butter mixture and stir well to combine.
In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded coconut and chow mein noodles. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients and ensure even distribution.
Using a spatula, gently fold the ingredients together until everything is well coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming mounds.
If desired, add sprinkles or colored sugar on top of each mound.
Refrigerate the haystacks for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
