A flavorful and messy feast that brings together a medley of fresh seafood, aromatic spices, and a buttery garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale:
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 1 lb crab legs (snow crab or king crab), thawed
- 1 lb mussels, cleaned
- 1 lb small clams, scr믭 and rinsed
- 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons seafood boil seasoning
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, fill with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the seafood boil seasoning, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes or until they start to become tender.
- Next, add the corn and continue boiling for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the mussels and clams to the pot. Cover and cook until they start to open, about 5 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and crab legs to the pot, stirring gently to combine. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- While the seafood is cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and remove from heat.
- Once the seafood is cooked, drain the pot and transfer everything to a large serving bowl or platter.
- Drizzle the garlic butter sauce generously over the seafood and vegetables, tossing them gently.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
