These delightful little treats are not only visually appealing but also incredibly easy to make, making them the perfect no-bake appetizer for any celebration.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 large flour tortillas (or gluten-free tortillas if needed)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup fresh or canned cranberry sauce
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
1 teaspoon orange zest
Fresh parsley or mint leaves for garnish
Additional cranberry sauce for drizzling
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey, and orange zest. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
Evenly distribute the cranberry sauce over the cream cheese layer on each tortilla.
If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the cranberry sauce.
Starting from one end, tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape.
Wrap each log tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Once chilled, remove the pinwheels from the refrigerator and unwrap. Using a sharp knife, slice each log into bite-sized pieces.
Arrange the sliced pinwheels on a platter, garnish with fresh parsley or mint leaves, and drizzle with additional cranberry sauce before serving.
