1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
After cooling, carefully lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Once cooled, spread the chocolate frosting generously over the top of the brownies.
Sprinkle colorful sprinkles over the frosting, cut into squares, and enjoy!
