A quick, nutritious, and flavorful meal combining succulent air-fried salmon with a vibrant, zesty avocado orange salsa, perfect for summer dining.
Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 large orange, segmented and chopped
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional for heat)
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups cooked quinoa or brown rice
- Fresh greens (arugula or spinach)
- Lime wedges (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until opaque and flakes easily.
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocado, orange segments, red onion, jalapeño (if using), cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Gently toss to combine.
- In a large serving bowl, add a base of cooked quinoa or brown rice. Top with fresh greens and the cooked salmon fillets.
- Spoon the avocado orange salsa over the salmon.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
